Dr. Shelby Brogdon has been practicing optometry in Arkansas for more than 8 years and has dedicated much of her career to helping patients with dry eye disease and complex ocular surface conditions. She specializes in dry eye management, advanced diagnostics, and customized treatment plans designed around each patient’s unique needs.
At the Dry Eye Center of Arkansas, Dr. Brogdon focuses exclusively on diagnosing and treating the root causes of dry eye, using advanced technology and modern treatment options to help patients improve their comfort, vision, and quality of life.

Why Dry Eye Care Became Her Focus
Dr. Shelby Brogdon’s journey into dry eye care began at a previous practice, where she launched a specialty dry eye clinic in the fall of 2022. What started as a growing interest quickly became a true passion as she saw firsthand how significantly dry eye disease impacts patients’ daily lives — affecting not only comfort and vision, but also confidence, productivity, and overall quality of life.
As the clinic grew, so did her desire to focus more intentionally on specialty care. She wanted to create an environment where care could be more intentional, thorough, and focused entirely on the patient experience. In June of 2025, Dr. Brogdon transitioned into a fully dedicated specialty dry eye practice, joining Dr. Ada Noh at Noh Eyes, a specialty dry eye clinic originally established in 2022. She recently purchased the practice, which has since been rebranded as the Dry Eye Center of Arkansas.
What ultimately prompted this shift was a combination of recognizing a major clinical need and reaching a personal turning point in her career. The transition into a fully specialty-based clinic has been incredibly rewarding.
The transition has also strengthened collaboration with referring providers who trust the clinic to help manage more advanced and complex dry eye cases.
