Our Services
Each patient's dry eye journey has unique symptoms, structure, and severity. Our doctors will spend time identifying the underlying cause of your disease and procure the appropriate treatment. We have the most advanced technology to ensure proper diagnosis and effective, long-lasting outcomes.

Dry Eye Center of Arkansas does NOT provide routine eye care (glasses and contact lens prescriptions), but we have many great eye care providers we are happy to recommend.

Dry Eye Diagnostics
Dry eye is not a one-size-fits-all condition. By combining these advanced diagnostics, we’re able to identify the exact cause of your symptoms and create a customized treatment plan designed for long-term relief, not just temporary fixes.
Miebography
Infrared imaging of the Meibomian glands is similar to an X-Ray or a CT scan. It gives real-time information on the structure of the glands. This helps identify if the glands are being compromised.
Digital Corneal Eisthiometer
A non-invasive, no-contact assessment of the corneal sensitivity of the human eye through controlled air pulses as stimuli.
Point of Care Testing
Our point-of-care testing allows us to assess key markers of dry eye in real time during your visit. Instead of guessing, we use objective data to guide diagnosis and treatment—helping us create a more personalized and effective care plan from day one
Noninvasive Tear Break-up Time
This evaluates the stability of your tear film. A grid or concentric ring pattern is projected onto the cornea and the patient is asked to blink. The rings will appear distorted when the cornea becomes dry.
Vital Dyes
Special dyes are placed on the eye to view damaged cells on the cornea, conjunctiva, and lid margin. This aids in diagnosis and helps to visualize the current status of your ocular surface.
Dry Eye Treatments
No two dry eye cases are the same. Based on your diagnostic results, we create a personalized treatment plan that may combine multiple therapies to restore comfort, improve vision, and provide lasting relief.
Intense Pulse Light (IPL)
IPL therapy uses precise light energy to reduce inflammation and improve the function of your oil glands. By restoring healthy tear production and stability, IPL helps provide long-term relief from dry, irritated eyes.
ZEST Lid and Lash Cleaning
ZEST is a deep cleansing treatment that removes bacteria, debris, and biofilm from the eyelids and lashes. This helps open blocked glands, reduce inflammation, and create a healthier environment for long-term dry eye relief.
Punctual Occlusion with Lacrifill
Lacrifill® is an advanced, gel-based punctal occlusion treatment that uses cross-linked hyaluronic acid to enhance tear retention. By slowing tear drainage, it helps maintain a healthier, more stable tear film—providing longer-lasting relief from dryness and irritation.
Rinsada
An irrigating lid retractor that delivers a high-flow irrigation solution to the conjunctival fornix, palpebral conjunctiva, and bulbar conjunctiva simultaneously. This unique device targets ocular surface biofilm, allergens, and irritants, addressing the root causes of DED and ocular surface disease.
Meibomian Gland Probing (MGP)
Probing aims to open obstructed meibomian glands using a small probe to promote meibum secretion.
Radiofrequency (RF)
This treatment gently heats and expresses the oil glands in your eyelids to clear blockages and restore healthy oil flow. The result is improved tear quality, reduced irritation, and more stable, comfortable vision.
Amniotic Membranes
Amniotic membranes are a natural, healing tissue derived from the placenta. The membrane is placed on the eye similar to a contact lens and provides nutrients, growth factors, and scaffolding that help restore and repair the ocular surface.
Autologous Serum Tears Formulation
Autologous serum tears are custom-made eye drops created from your own blood serum. Rich in natural growth factors and nutrients, they help heal the ocular surface, reduce inflammation, and provide relief for moderate to severe dry eye. We formulate these in our office!
NuLids Pro
NuLids Pro is an advanced treatment approach designed to address the underlying causes of blepharitis, MGD, and dry eye disease by targeting the eyelid margins and meibomian glands. The NuLids system consists of a handheld device and disposable soft tips , which are used to perform gentle mechanical debridement and stimulation of the eyelid margins.
Low Level Light Therapy
A non-invasive, painless treatment for dry eye that uses specific LED light wavelengths (often red or infrared) to target meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD). By applying gentle heat, it stimulates the oil-producing glands in the eyelids to improve tear quality
Other Services
The delicate skin around the eyes is often one of the first areas to show signs of aging, inflammation, and irritation. In addition to advanced dry eye care, we offer a range of services designed to support the overall health, comfort, and appearance of your eyes and surrounding skin.
IPL Photofacial
Intense pulse light (IPL) photofacial treatments use targeted light energy to reduce redness, rosacea, and uneven skin tone. By calming inflammation and improving skin clarity, IPL helps restore a brighter, more even complexion—while also supporting underlying dry eye treatment.
Ocular Allergy Reset
Allergies can significantly impact eye comfort, causing redness, itching, and irritation. We offer a combo of lid/lash cleaning and rinsada irrigation to calm inflammation, improve tear quality, and keep your eyes feeling clear and comfortable during peak allergy seasons.
Skin Tightening and Rejuvenation
Radiofrequency treatments gently stimulate collagen production to tighten and smooth the skin around the eyes. This helps improve fine lines, skin texture, and elasticity for a more refreshed, youthful appearance.
Stye and Chalazion Treatment
Styes and chalazia are often caused by blocked or inflamed oil glands in the eyelids. We offer targeted treatments with Intense Pulsed Light in combo with Low Level light therapy to reduce inflammation, promote drainage, and support healing, helping relieve discomfort and prevent recurrence.
